OUR REPAIR PROCESS
At Elite Showers, we are experienced and qualified professionals that pride ourselves in high-quality, efficient and affordable shower and bathroom solutions for our customers. We back all of our work with a 2 year workmanship warranty, and of course are fully insured, so there is no risk to you.
No Tiles Removed Process
- Visually inspect all all areas of shower to identify source of leak.
- Remove old, damaged or mouldy sealant from internal junctions of shower screen and walls.
- Repair loose or cracked tiles as needed.
- Remove grout from walls. (providing not cement based)
- Prepare floor and wall junctions with specialised tools.
- Remove old cement based grout from floor waste.
- Remove old cement based grout from floor joints.
- Vacuum and prep surfaces of walls and floor for grouting.
- Re-grout walls with water resistant grout.
- Apply water resistant epoxy grout to shower base wall and floor junctions.
- Apply water resistant epoxy grout to floor joints.
- Seal internal junctions of shower screen with water resistant silicone.
- Seal tap flanges.
- Apply hydro barrier sealer to walls and floor.
- Remove all rubbish from work area, ensuring shower is left clean.
The Showers must be clean and dry for 12 hours before day of service. Once service is completed, please leave the shower for 24 hours for the products to to dry. A slight powder may be evident on the walls, this is from the grout residue. This can easily be removed with a damp cloth prior to using the shower.

Simon did a terrific job. He was very professional and didn’t cut corners – e.g. it would have been easy to tile over waterproofing despite pinholes and save himself a Saturday but he did the right thing and reproofed. He turned up when he said he would and if there were unforseen delays, he let me know in a timely manner. I have recommended your service to a Real Estate agency, my neighbour and another friend.
